DUMFRIES, Va. (June 13, 2025)—As part of its ongoing commitment to the Dumfries and Prince William County communities, The Rose Gaming Resort has made a $10,000 contribution to support First Tee of Prince William County. This generous contribution through the Rosie’s Gives Back program supports First Tee’s mission to empower youth by building character, self-confidence, and resilience through the game of golf.

The $10,000 donation was presented to First Tee by Bobbi Sample, General Manager of The Rose Gaming Resort and Rosie’s Dumfries, and Aaron Palmer, Director of Government Relations, accompanied by Del. Luke Torian (24th District.)

“Our team at The Rose is proud to be a trusted community partner in Dumfries and throughout Prince William County,” said Bobbi Sample, General Manager of The Rose and Rosie’s Dumfries. “This contribution to First Tee supports the mission of our Rosie’s Gives Back program by providing meaningful support to organizations working to invest in and strengthen the communities where we live and work.”

“I appreciate The Rose’s continued generosity and investment in the Prince William community,” said Del. Luke Torian. “First Tee does tremendous work to provide opportunities for growth and mentorship. This is a great partnership that will pay dividends for Prince William’s youth.”

First Tee is a youth development organization that integrates golf with a life skills curriculum, creating active learning experiences that help kids grow both on and off the course. Their programs foster inner strength and prepare young people for a lifetime of new challenges.

The Rose Gaming Resort and Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums in Dumfries and around the state contribute to local organizations and causes through the “Rosie’s Gives Back” program which has made more than $5 million in direct donations and in-kind contributions, and donated thousands of hours of volunteer service. The program supports a range of nonprofits and causes around Virginia including groups providing services in education, workforce development, and support for veterans and law enforcement. The goal of the Rosie’s Gives Back program is to meaningfully improve the quality of life in the communities where team members live and work. The company also partners with statewide programs for the broadest impact possible.
