Founded in 2016, Allure Band began as a one-time First Friday performance at the historic Takoma Station Tavern and quickly became a DMV favorite. Fronted by Titania “Tiny” Adams and Maurice “Uptown Modiggz” Randolph, the band delivers an energetic blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Go-Go backed by a powerhouse lineup of veteran musicians. Known for their electrifying performances, musicianship, and crowd engagement, Allure Band has gained recognition from notable supporters including Mayor Muriel Bowser and media mogul Cathy Hughes. Today, the band continues to entertain audiences across the DMV and remains the featured First Friday band at Takoma Station Tavern — a residency they have proudly maintained for the past decade.
