Founded in 2016, Allure Band began as a one-time First Friday performance at the historic Takoma Station Tavern and quickly became a DMV favorite. Fronted by Titania “Tiny” Adams and Maurice “Uptown Modiggz” Randolph, the band delivers an energetic blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Go-Go backed by a powerhouse lineup of veteran musicians. Known for their electrifying performances, musicianship, and crowd engagement, Allure Band has gained recognition from notable supporters including Mayor Muriel Bowser and media mogul Cathy Hughes. Today, the band continues to entertain audiences across the DMV and remains the featured First Friday band at Takoma Station Tavern — a residency they have proudly maintained for the past decade.

URB featuring Ms. Yendy is one of the DMV’s premier live Go-Go entertainment acts, blending the hardhitting rhythms of the Urban Rhythm Band with the dynamic vocals and stage presence of legendary vocalist Ms. Yendy Brown. Known for delivering high-energy performances, crowd engagement, and musical versatility, the band has become a favorite throughout the Washington metropolitan area, performing at festivals, concerts, private events, and community celebrations. Under the leadership of Joseph Jackson and GoGo Ventures, URB has built a reputation for professionalism, consistency, and excellence while helping preserve and promote the rich culture of Go-Go music.

Fronting the band is Ms. Yendy Brown, a celebrated vocalist best known for her work with Mambo Sauce and her vocals on the iconic DMV anthems “Welcome to D.C.” and “Miracles.” These songs helped introduce Go-Go music to national audiences, with “Welcome to D.C.” reaching the Billboard charts and receiving airplay on BET, MTV, and VH1. Today, URB featuring Ms. Yendy continues that legacy by combining classic Go-Go energy with soulful vocals, creating an unforgettable live experience that celebrates the sound, culture, and spirit of Washington, D.C
