URB featuring Ms. Yendy is one of the DMV’s premier live Go-Go entertainment acts, blending the hardhitting rhythms of the Urban Rhythm Band with the dynamic vocals and stage presence of legendary vocalist Ms. Yendy Brown. Known for delivering high-energy performances, crowd engagement, and musical versatility, the band has become a favorite throughout the Washington metropolitan area, performing at festivals, concerts, private events, and community celebrations. Under the leadership of Joseph Jackson and GoGo Ventures, URB has built a reputation for professionalism, consistency, and excellence while helping preserve and promote the rich culture of Go-Go music.

Fronting the band is Ms. Yendy Brown, a celebrated vocalist best known for her work with Mambo Sauce and her vocals on the iconic DMV anthems “Welcome to D.C.” and “Miracles.” These songs helped introduce Go-Go music to national audiences, with “Welcome to D.C.” reaching the Billboard charts and receiving airplay on BET, MTV, and VH1.
